Tamás Racskó is a Hungarian agricultural and food policy expert with over 15 years of experience in EU, international trade, food and phytosanitary affairs. His earlier career includes positions at the Hungarian Ministry of Agriculture, Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture, the Federation of Hungarian Food Industries, the Hungarian National Trading House, focusing on exports, official controls, international negotiations, coordination of official inspections and representing food and feed companies in a trade union.
He recently served as an Agricultural Attaché at the Hungarian Permanent Representation to the EU, where he contributed to EU regulatory negotiations and the management of the Hungarian EU Presidency. Since November 2025, he is the Phytosanitary Policy Advisor at Copa-Cogeca in Brussels, representing farmers’ and cooperatives’ interests in plant health, plant protection, and related EU legislation.
He holds an MSc in International Relations from Corvinus University of Budapest and speaks Hungarian, English, German, and Swedish.
