Professor Sergio Della Sala

Sergio Della Sala, MD, MSc, PhD, FRSA, FRSE, FBPsS, is Professor of Human Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on the relationship between the brain and behavior. He has published over 700 experimental papers in peer-reviewed journals, as well as numerous specialized and popular science books. He has been editor-in-chief of Cortex for over 20 years, is Fellow of the Royal Society, and the recipient of the first Tam Dalyell Prize for “Excellence in Engaging the Public with Science.” and of the 2024 FESN "Global Ambassador" award.
