Lena Pauschenwein studied law at the University of Vienna (Magister iuris) and the University of Glasgow (LLM), specialising in intellectual property and technology law. She has been working in the Intellectual Property Unit of the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) of the European Commission since 2021. In the unit, she mainly works on patents (specifically supplementary protection certificates) and trade secrets.
