Technical adviserat the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Spain) With over a decade of experience in the agricultural sector, I joined the Ministry of Agriculture in 2016. I spent my first four years serving as a Plant Health Border Inspector, gaining extensive on-the-ground experience in international trade and phytosanitary safety. Currently, I serve as Head of Area within the Sub-directorate General for Plant and Forest Health and Hygiene. In this role, I oversee the marketing and use of phytosanitary products, as well as hygiene standards for primary agricultural production. My work is central to the implementation of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) regulations and the sustainable use of plant protection products. Additionally, I am the direct manager for the Registry of Phytosanitary Transactions and the Registry of Specific Phytosanitary Defense Means, ensuring compliance and transparency across the industry to protect both agricultural productivity and environmental health.
