Iga is a senior expert in governmental affairs and communications with 15+ years of experience in various sectors. Since 2024, she has been a Chair of CropLife Europe Sustainable Agriculture committee.
Iga began her career in corporate communications at GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals. She then worked for the Polish Spirits Industry Association as External Relations Director, representing the voice of the industry (SMEs and multinational corporations) among decision makers and media, covering tax, health, and trade policy. Since 2017 with BASF, a leading chemical company. Iga started her career in BASF as public affairs manager for Poland, then took responsbility for public affairs function in North & Central Europe region, overseeing advocacy campaings on agricultural policy on twelve markets. Few years ago, she joined BASF office in Brussels to lead EU policy advocacy related to crop protection, sustainable agriculture and trade.
She holds a MA in Sociology from University of Warsaw and postgraduate degrees in public policy and international business. In her free time, Iga serves as a mentor in public affairs in Polish European Professionals Network in Brussels.
