Gemma Peidro Saperas

Gemma Peidro is Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager for EMEA and CIS countries in BASF based in Barcelona, Spain. She graduated in the University of Barcelona as Technical Agronomist Engineer with a Research fellowship in Plant Genetic in 1999. Her involvement with Crop Protection Regulatory Affairs started 26 years ago in the Global Regulatory Affairs Department of LAINCO and later as Iberia Regulatory Affairs Manager in Kenogard. She had an active role in AEPLA (Spanish crop protection association) for 13 years, being the Chair of the Regulatory Strategies Group (GER) for 4 years. In 2007 she joined BASF, initially as Regulatory Affairs Manager for Spain and later as Regulatory Affairs Manager for EMEA-CIS countries. Since 2020 she is an active member of the Product Authorization Expert Group (PAEG) of CLE, being the Chair of the group since January 1st 2026.
