Alexander Bernhuber (M.Sc., University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna) is a Member of the European Parliament and an Austrian agricultural expert. He has represented Austria in the European Parliament since 2019, where he focuses on environmental, agricultural, and rural development policy. Within the Parliament, he serves on the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI), the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI), and the Committee on Petitions (PETI). He is also active in several international delegations, including the Delegation to the Cariforum‑EU Parliamentary Committee, the Delegation to the OACPS‑EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly, and the Delegation to the Caribbean‑EU Parliamentary Assembly.
